EMPLOYMENT AT HAWAIIAN WATERS

Hawaiian Waters offers job opportunities for candidates fourteen (14) years of age or older in a safe, value-centered and exciting atmosphere. There are great opportunities for students, teachers, parents, extra wage earners and seniors. Positions available at both locations in Garland and The Colony.

Applicants who are 14 or 15 years old are required to apply for Junior Positions.

Bartender +
Hawaiian Waters The Colony Bartenders need to be able to provide high-quality alcoholic beverages to our guests of legal drinking age in a timely manner while maintaining safety, accuracy and having great personal integrity and responsibility. Guest service-driven, taking drink orders from both bar guests and cabana servers, and always keeping our bar clean and organized. Must be knowledgeable of the drink menu, as well as the draft and bottled beer selection,and be able to explain them to guests. NOTE: Must be at least 18 years old and TABC certified.

Food & Beverage +
Hawaiian Waters The Colony Food & Beverage Team Members ensure quality food and customer service to our guests. This includes but is not limited to preparing, cooking and serving various food offerings, cashiering and customer service-related tasks. This position is highly relational, and service oriented. No experience necessary; all training is provided. NOTE: Must be at least 18 years old to perform certain duties and will need to obtain food handlers certification.

Jr. Front Gate & Retail +
Hawaiian Waters The Colony Jr. Front Gate & Retail Team Members ensure quick and friendly service to all guests entering the park. This includes, but not limited to serving as a cashier, checking coolers/bags, scanning tickets for entry and working in the retail shop. This position is highly relational, and service oriented. No experience necessary; all training provided. NOTE: Position for 14 or 15  years old only.
Lifeguard +
Hawaiian Waters The Colony Lifeguards are tasked with ensuring the safety of our guests during their visit to our park. This includes monitoring pool areas, enforcing rules, assisting guests in need and being responsive to situations that may arise. Must be able to communicate effectively with other Team Members and guests. This position is highly relational, and service oriented. No experience necessary. All applicants must complete our certification course, prior licenses are not valid. Subsequent training is provided. NOTE: If you are 15 years old, you must apply for the Jr. Lifeguard position.

Park Ambassador +
As a Hawaiian Waters The Colony Cabana & Event Team Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by servicing our cabanas, assisting with events, and hosting birthday parties, games, and activities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all guests are provided with top-notch service, creating memorable experiences that reflect the highest standards of Hawaiian Waters The Colony. No experience necessary; all training is provided. NOTE: Must be at least 18 years old to perform certain duties and will need to obtain food handlers certification and TABC license.

Seasonal Maintenance +
Hawaiian Waters The Colony Maintenance Team Members are responsible for maintenance of all equipment to ensure a safe operation of the water park. This position will focus on repair, construction, general upkeep, troubleshooting and rehab of water park rides, attractions, buildings and facilities and help establish preventive maintenance and inspection programs that maximize uptime and minimize costs. NOTE: Must be at least 18 years old.

Daytime Security +
Hawaiian Waters The Colony Daytime Security Guard ensures the safety of guests and employees by conducting bag checks, monitoring the parking lot, securing park entrances and exits, and patrolling the property. This role also provides guest assistance and supports special events. NOTE: Must be at least 18 years old.
Front Gate & Retail +
Hawaiian Waters The Colony Front Gate & Retail Team Members ensure quick and friendly service to all guests entering the park. Line Cook +
Hawaiian Waters The Colony Line Cook Team Members ensure quality food and customer service to our guests. This includes but is not limited to preparing, and cooking various food offerings (pizza and fried foods). This position is highly relational, and service oriented. No experience necessary; all training is provided. NOTE: Must be at least 18 years old and will need to obtain food handlers certification.

Park Services +
Hawaiian Waters The Colony Park Services Team Members ensure the general cleanliness and upkeep of the park. Attention to detail and a desire to maintain a clean environment for our guests is a must. At times, park services team members will be trained to assist in various projects around the park. This position is highly relational and service oriented. No experience necessary; all training is provided. NOTE: Must be at least 18 years old to perform certain duties

Slide Attendant +
Hawaiian Waters The Colony Slide Attendants are tasked with ensuring the safety of our guests during their visit to ours park. This includes but is not limited to enforcing attraction rules, giving clear instructions to guests, and facilitating a fun experience each and every ride. Must be able to communicate effectively with other Team Members and guests. This position is highly relational, and service oriented. No experience necessary; all training provided. NOTE: Must be at least 16 years old.

EMT +
Hawaiian Waters The Colony Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) provides prompt medical response, assessment, and care to guests and employees at Hawaiian Waters The Colony. The role includes conducting safety audits, maintaining medical equipment, and providing exceptional customer service. NOTE: Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid EMT license.

Overnight Security +
Hawaiian Waters The Colony Overnight Facilities & Security Technician ensures the safety and upkeep of Hawaiian Waters Garland during non-operating hours. This role includes conducting facility inspections, reporting unauthorized individuals, and performing entry-level maintenance tasks such as power washing and pool cleaning. NOTE: Must be at least 18 years old.
Seasonal HR Assistant +
Hawaiian Waters Seasonal Human Resources Assistant supports the HR Manager during the peak hiring season and summer operations. This role includes assisting with recruitment efforts, scheduling and coordinating interviews, supporting job fairs and helping plan and execute employee events. The position requires travel between Garland and The Colony locations, with the majority of time spent at the Garland park. NOTE: Must be at least 18 years old.
