EMPLOYMENT AT HAWAIIAN WATERS

Hawaiian Waters offers job opportunities for candidates fourteen (14) years of age or older in a safe, value-centered and exciting atmosphere. There are great opportunities for students, teachers, parents, extra wage earners and seniors. Positions available at both locations in Garland and The Colony.

Applicants who are 14 or 15 years old are required to apply for Junior Positions.

Daytime Security +
Hawaiian Waters The Colony Daytime Security Guard ensures the safety of guests and employees by conducting bag checks, monitoring the parking lot, securing park entrances and exits, and patrolling the property. This role also provides guest assistance and supports special events. NOTE: Must be at least 18 years old.

Jr. Lifeguard +
Hawaiian Waters The Colony Jr. Lifeguards are tasked with ensuring the safety of our guests during their visit to our park. This includes monitoring pool areas, enforcing rules, assisting guests in need and being responsive to situations that may arise. Must be able to communicate effectively with other Team Members and guests. This position is highly relational, and service oriented. No experience necessary. All applicants must complete our certification course, prior licenses are not valid. Subsequent training is provided.< NOTE: Position for 15 years old only.

Overnight Security +
Hawaiian Waters The Colony Overnight Facilities & Security Technician ensures the safety and upkeep of Hawaiian Waters Garland during non-operating hours. This role includes conducting facility inspections, reporting unauthorized individuals, and performing entry-level maintenance tasks such as power washing and pool cleaning. NOTE: Must be at least 18 years old.

Food & Beverage +
Hawaiian Waters The Colony Food & Beverage Team Members ensure quality food and customer service to our guests. This includes but is not limited to preparing, cooking and serving various food offerings, cashiering and customer service-related tasks. This position is highly relational, and service oriented. No experience necessary; all training is provided. NOTE: Must be at least 18 years old to perform certain duties and will need to obtain food handlers certification.

Lifeguard +
Hawaiian Waters The Colony Lifeguards are tasked with ensuring the safety of our guests during their visit to our park. This includes monitoring pool areas, enforcing rules, assisting guests in need and being responsive to situations that may arise. Must be able to communicate effectively with other Team Members and guests. This position is highly relational, and service oriented. No experience necessary. Park Services +
Hawaiian Waters The Colony Park Services Team Members ensure the general cleanliness and upkeep of the park. Attention to detail and a desire to maintain a clean environment for our guests is a must. At times, park services team members will be trained to assist in various projects around the park. This position is highly relational and service oriented. No experience necessary; all training is provided. NOTE: Must be at least 18 years old to perform certain duties.

Front Gate & Retail +
Hawaiian Waters The Colony Front Gate & Retail Team Members ensure quick and friendly service to all guests entering the park. This includes, but not limited to serving as a cashier, checking coolers/bags, scanning tickets for entry and working in the retail shop. This position is highly relational, and service oriented. No experience necessary; all training provided.

Line Cook +
Hawaiian Waters The Colony Line Cook Team Members ensure quality food and customer service to our guests. This includes but is not limited to preparing, and cooking various food offerings (pizza and fried foods). This position is highly relational, and service oriented. No experience necessary; all training is provided. NOTE: Must be at least 18 years old and will need to obtain food handlers certification.

Slide Attendant +
Hawaiian Waters The Colony Slide Attendants are tasked with ensuring the safety of our guests during their visit to ours park. This includes but is not limited to enforcing attraction rules, giving clear instructions to guests, and facilitating a fun experience each and every ride. Must be able to communicate effectively with other Team Members and guests. This position is highly relational, and service oriented. No experience necessary; all training provided. NOTE: Must be at least 16 years old.

Complimentary Tickets

Team Members receive their own Hawaiian Waters Season Pass, valid at Hawaiian Waters The Colony and Garland. So when you just can’t get enough of the waterpark, join us even on your day off. And what’s a trip to the waterpark without your friends and family. As a Hawaiian Waters Team Members you will also receive 4 daily admission tickets per month you work to make sure your friends and family can join in the fun.
