EMPLOYMENT at Hawaiian Waters
Hawaiian Waters offers job opportunities for candidates fourteen (14) years of age or older in a safe, value-centered and exciting atmosphere. There are great opportunities for students, teachers, parents, extra wage earners and seniors. Positions available at Hawaiian Waters The Colony only.
All positions for the 2025 season at Hawaiian Waters Garland have been filled.
Applicants who are 14 or 15 years old are required to apply for Junior Positions.

Food & Beverage
Hawaiian Waters Food & Beverage Team Members ensure quality food and customer service to our guests. This includes but is not limited to preparing, cooking and serving various food offerings, cashiering and customer service-related tasks. This position is highly relational, and service oriented. No experience necessary; all training is provided.
NOTE: Must be at least 18 years old to perform certain duties and will need to obtain food handlers certification.
Bartender
Hawaiian Waters Bartenders need to be able to provide high-quality alcoholic beverages to our guests of legal drinking age in a timely manner while maintaining safety, accuracy and having great personal integrity and responsibility. Guest service-driven, taking drink orders from both bar guests and cabana servers, and always keeping our bar clean and organized. Must be knowledgeable of the drink menu, as well as the draft and bottled beer selection,and be able to explain them to guests.
NOTE: Must be at least 18 years old and TABC certified.
Line Cook
Hawaiian Waters Line Cook Team Members ensure quality food and customer service to our guests. This includes but is not limited to preparing and cooking various food offerings (pizza and fried foods). This position is highly relational, and service oriented. No experience necessary; all training is provided.
NOTE: Must be at least 18 years old and will need to obtain food handlers certification.
Lifeguard
Hawaiian Waters Lifeguards are tasked with ensuring the safety of our guests during their visit to our park. This includes monitoring pool areas, enforcing rules, assisting guests in need and being responsive to situations that may arise. Must be able to communicate effectively with other Team Members and guests. This position is highly relational, and service oriented. No experience necessary. All applicants must complete our certification course, prior licenses are not valid. Subsequent training is provided.
NOTE: If you are 15 years old, you must apply for the Jr. Lifeguard position.
Slide Attendant
Hawaiian Waters Slide Attendants are tasked with ensuring the safety of our guests during their visit to ours park. This includes but is not limited to enforcing attraction rules, giving clear instructions to guests, and facilitating a fun experience each and every ride. Must be able to communicate effectively with other Team Members and guests. This position is highly relational, and service oriented. No experience necessary; all training provided.
NOTE: Must be at least 16 years old.
EMT
Hawaiian Waters Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) provides prompt medical response, assessment, and care to guests and employees at Hawaiian Waters The Colony. The role includes conducting safety audits, maintaining medical equipment, and providing exceptional customer service.
NOTE: Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid EMT license.
Front Gate & Retail
Hawaiian Waters Front Gate Team Members ensure quick and friendly service to all guests entering the park. This includes, but not limited to serving as a cashier, checking coolers/bags, scanning tickets for entry and working in the retail shop. This position is highly relational, and service oriented. No experience necessary; all training provided.
Park Ambassador
As a Hawaiian Waters Cabana & Event Team Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by servicing our cabanas, assisting with events, and hosting birthday parties, games, and activities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all guests are provided with top-notch service, creating memorable experiences that reflect the highest standards of Hawaiian Waters. No experience necessary; all training is provided.
NOTE: Must be at least 18 years old to perform certain duties and will need to obtain food handlers certification and TABC license.
Park Services
Hawaiian Waters Park Services Team Members ensure the general cleanliness and upkeep of the park. Attention to detail and a desire to maintain a clean environment for our guests is a must. At times, Park Services Team Members will be trained to assist in various projects around the park. This position is highly relational and service oriented. No experience necessary; all training is provided.
NOTE: Must be at least 18 years old to perform certain duties.
Seasonal Maintenance
Hawaiian Waters Maintenance Team Members are responsible for maintenance of all equipment to ensure a safe operation of the water park. This position will focus on repair, construction, general upkeep, troubleshooting and rehab of water park rides, attractions, buildings and facilities and help establish preventive maintenance and inspection programs that maximize uptime and minimize costs.
NOTE: Must be at least 18 years old.
